Having a bit of knowledge about computers I thought that I could put right what had gone wrong with my desktop, wrong I most have spent about 2 weeks trying to put it right with some help with online chat forums to get some help. In the end I gave Jason a call took it around to the shop and 3 days later over the weekend all fixed and up and running again and he said not a lot wrong with it in the end just a few tweaks done to BIOS and sorted out wrong set-up on system.

Just thought I would let you know I took my digital player to my 'One to One' tutorial and was able to purchase a 400x800 Fire Wire, after telling Apple at Exeter that my Computer Consultant had told me what to purchase. The tutor who had previously said that I wouldn't be able to edit them, connected it up to a computer; and everything worked fine, quite surprising as that particular tape is 13 years old. He was delighted and pleased that it worked, saying "that was something else that he had learnt". They were all interested in my 'High Eight' digital player; nobody had seen one of them before. I've just tried it out on my computer, it's great. Of course I shall need a brain implant, but I'm getting there.
